Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women in the PC(USA) is the women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Membership is open to anyone who supports the Purpose of Presbyterian Women (PW). PW is organized nationally in congregations, presbyteries and synods. The organization publishes Horizons, a bi-monthly magazine and annual Bible study, offers opportunities for national and international mission and ministry and advocates for justice and peace through its networks.

Presbyterian Women of the First Presbyterian Church of Ponca City meet once a month on the second Wednesday at 1:00 PM. and have dessert and coffee, Bible Study using the Horizon Bible Study, and a short business meeting.

We raise money and support many causes including Child Development Center, Backpack Food 4 Kids, Nearing House, Living Hope, Hope Ranch, Dwight Mission, Synod of the Sun's Solar under the Sun, Heifer Interactional, Haiti Foundation, and Medical Benevolence Foundation-Moringa Tree, and Mosquito Nets We also participate in the Church- wide Birthday Offering, Thank Offering and Fellowship of the Least Coin.
